Apparently that was just another coincidence. The grave where the loot was hidden had the name Lily Waters on it. The boat was named Waterlily, in homage to her and to cover up her writing a murdered child’s name on it. Lancaster, but she gave it to Tommy and Tuppence‘s aunt. The painting was owned by the killer, Mrs. She wasn’t hit because she found the fake grave hiding the loot. He had other loot hidden in the graveyard, which Tuppence stumbled across, but it was the woman helping hide Mrs. He was also the leader of the robbery gang. He was the attorney in charge of paying expenses for the crazy lady, but didn’t seem to really know who she was.

The inhabitants of the house, the Perrys, had no idea the loot was there though, handing it right to Tuppence. One connection point was robbery loot hidden in the house owned by the killer’s husband where he was hiding his wife. But then there was also the attorney/robbery mastermind, Mr. Lancaster, who turned out to be a psychotic child killer in her younger days.

There was the main story of the old lady in the nursing home, Mrs. I think there were two mysteries here that had nothing to do with each other, but for some reason converged in this little town in the country.
